Juicing is a great way to get some more veggies in, just make sure that you have mostly vegetables in your juice and only a small amount of fruit. Here is a video where Denise shows us how to juice.
Here are a few juice recipes that you could try for yourself!
- 1 or 2 red or green apple (green apples recommended, but if you prefer some sweetness, use the red apples)
- 1 medium-sized cucumber
- 5 sticks of asparagus
- Makes about 400 ml worth of green juice.
- 1 bunch of kale
- 1 small bag of baby carrots
- 2 bunches of broccoli
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 lemon
- Substitute vegetables based on what you find at the store, what is on sale or what looks good. This recipe makes enough for 4 servings.
